What is Viaminate
Viaminate is similar to 13-cis-retinoic acid and aromatic retinoic acid in its mechanism of action, but its side effects are lighter than those of all-trans retinoic acid. It is used orally to regulate and control the differentiation and growth of epithelial cells, inhibit keratinization, reduce sebum secretion, inhibit the keratinization process of keratin-forming cells, normalize keratinization abnormalities, inhibit the growth of Propionibacterium acnes, and have immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory effects. It is clinically indicated for the treatment of acne and can also be used for facial disseminated lupus cornea, hair erysipelas, follicular keratosis, various types of ichthyosis, palmar keratosis, oral mucosal leukoplakia, and mycosis fungoides
